Realbotix — the company behind RealDoll — has begun piloting a humanoid AI teaching assistant in Salamanca City Central School District in New York. The program pairs the Optio AI tutor, which offers curriculum‑aligned homework help and multilingual support, with the M‑Series humanoid robot that interacts through natural conversation and expressions. Salamanca, a Woz ED STEM Pathway district, will expand the pilot to 500 students this fall. Realbotix, formerly Tokens.com, shifted into robotics after acquiring Simulacra, parent of RealDoll maker Abyss Creations.
