LEGO and Nintendo have teamed up to release a nostalgic tribute to handheld gaming: the LEGO Game Boy set. Launching October 1, 2025, the 421-piece model replicates the original 1989 Game Boy at near 1:1 scale, complete with functional buttons, contrast and volume dials, and a working cartridge slot. It includes buildable Game Paks for Super Mario Land and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, plus swappable lenticular screens. Priced at $59.99, the set is designed for adult collectors and retro gaming fans. Preorders are now open, and the release coincides with LEGO’s showcase at San Diego Comic-Con.
