What might have started as a personal preference, the drizzle of Tabasco sauce over a slice of pizza has evolved into a culinary sensation. The marriage of heat and flavor has given rise to a bona fide creation: the ‘Hotter By the Bite’ Tabasco-infused high-protein pizza.
Food manufacturer Banza and Tobasco’s Hotter By the Bite isn’t just a catchy name. It quite literally is a warning to all innocent pizza lovers out there thinking there’s just, but a dash of Tobasco added to each slice. Think again.

The first thing that will hit you is Tabasco’s Red Pepper sauce, which is bound to pack a punch. And with every bite, its name rings true until you get to the crust, where you’ll be met with Tobasco’s Scorpion Sauce to really go out with a bang.
According to Food & Wine, who interviewed vice president of marketing at Banza, Nicole Landesman, the decision to take a trip down this hot and spicy route was based on the fact that over 50 million people in the US add Tobasco to their pizzas.

So now, instead of adding your own, you can just heat up a slice of this infused spicy pizza. That said, if spice isn’t your thing, you might want to sit this one out.
