Artificial intelligence often exists as an intangible force in the digital realm. Not with the personal communication device company HiDock’s H1, an unassuming multiport dock that uses ChatGPT’s APIs to connect us to the internet.
HiDock H1 is designed for PC and Mac users, offering AI-enhanced audio capabilities for internet calls, meetings, and memos.

HiDock H1 is compatible with communication platforms like Skype, Google Meet, and FaceTime. It records, transcribes, and generates summaries and notes, acting like a personal assistant.
On top of that, it boasts two-way noise canceling for crystal-clear calls and supports fast charging for laptops and phones. It even comes with a single earpiece for you to connect to it.

The HiDock H1 includes a control panel for call management, a built-in speaker unit, and a companion subscription-based app called HiNotes. This app transcribes recordings in 57 languages and offers summarization and memo features. Voice marks can be added to highlight key details.
The device has 11 different ports, including two 4K@60Hz HDMI ports, an ethernet port, SD and MicroSD card slots, two USB-A ports, and three USB-C ports. It can output up to 118W of power, making it a pass-through charging solution for laptops, as well.

As privacy is a concern for many, the HiDock H1 records calls only when the button is pressed, with audio stored locally and secured with 256-bit encryption. Rest assured, conversations are not used to train AI models or stored in the cloud.
HiDock H1 is currently a campaign on Kickstarter and is going for US$149.
