American Eagle has launched Syd for Short, a summer campaign led by Sydney Sweeney that highlights denim shorts and a softer, escapist mood. The campaign draws on her off duty persona “Syd,” shaped by a laid back, outdoorsy lifestyle, and features dreamy visuals with denim on denim looks. Chief marketing officer Craig Brommers says the goal is to ease the noise young audiences face and create a calmer moment. Alongside style, the campaign continues American Eagle’s partnership with Crisis Text Line, reinforcing purpose driven marketing while building on the success of Sweeney’s earlier collaboration.
