Studio Ghibli’s Kiki’s Delivery Service is returning to theaters in a landmark event: its first-ever IMAX release. Beginning March 13, 2026, audiences across the U.S. and Canada can enjoy Hayao Miyazaki’s 1989 masterpiece in a newly remastered 4K format for one week only. Distributed by GKIDS, the re-release offers both subtitled Japanese and English-dubbed versions. Based on Eiko Kadono’s novel, the film follows young witch Kiki and her cat Jiji as she builds independence in a seaside town.
