Comedy Central has pulled the South Park episode “Got a Nut” from its cable schedule following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Utah. First aired in August 2025, the episode featured Eric Cartman parodying Kirk’s style and introducing a fictional “Charlie Kirk Award for Young Masterdebaters,” alongside jabs at Kristi Noem and JD Vance. Kirk had publicly embraced the satire before his death, calling it a “badge of honor.” While still available on Paramount+, the network removed it from broadcast out of sensitivity, a move sparking debate over political satire, free speech, and media responsibility.
