Kurt Cobain’s Hair Returns To Auction Alongside GG Allin’s Bloody Underwear

In a unique auction event, strands of Kurt Cobain’s hair and GG Allin’s blood-signed underwear are set to be sold by Potter & Potter Auctions. Cobain’s hair, previously sold for $14,145 in 2021, was originally cut during Nirvana’s Bleach tour in 1989. GG Allin’s underwear, notorious for his extreme stage presence, is inscribed with “Suck my a– it smells.” The auction, titled “Punks, Monsters, Smut & Madmen: A Countercultural Cross-Section,” will also feature other punk and rock memorabilia, including items from CBGB and signed pieces from The Ramones and Dead Kennedys.
