Old is the new new. The smartphone has taken the backseat of late as young photographers lean into retro mediums, rushing to thrift stores to pick up a film or digital camera. Recognizing the returning fascination with the tactile experience and lo-fi aesthetic, Leica has launched the Lux app. Strictly for the iPhone as of now, Lux promises an experience about as close to holding a Leica model as you can get without actually owning one.
