The streets are set to sizzle with a fashion capsule that blends the fiery essence of flame-grilled burgers with FILA’s iconic streetwear vibe. This Whopper of a mashup marks the sportswear brand’s first foray into the fast-food realm.

The Collab Born from Fire, as it is called, hails from Brazil, paying homage to Burger King’s flame-grilled heritage that has revolutionized the taste of fast food.

The entrée is a special FX-33 sneaker, a basketball-inspired kick that features a mid-cut design and flaunts a color blend of the chain’s vibrant orange and brown hues against FILA’s signature off-white.

The shoe’s upper is crafted from premium microfiber, taking on a structured design with overlays of material and authentic stitched detailing that enhance its robust appearance.

Adding to the sneaker’s unique flavor is a special tag placed on the shoelaces, which is made from crackled leather that subtly evokes the textures of Burger King’s char-grilled cooking surfaces. The style is further personalized with a removable flag, inviting wearers to customize their pair and make a distinct statement.

Sides can be ordered up in the form of accessories like a shoulder bag, a bucket hat, a cap, and socks, all sporting a unique flame-grilled-esque twist.

The campaign, concocted by advertising agency DAVID São Paulo, spins a tale of transformation, turning Burger King’s iconic Whopper into a high-fashion item. The narrative follows a curious character who, after subjecting the sandwich to intense heat, emerges with the innovative FX-33 sneaker.
Adriana Magalhães David, head of marketing at FILA Brazil, expresses her enthusiasm for the collaboration, underscoring the creative synergy of combining two powerhouses to craft items that celebrate the rich legacies of both brands.
“We are excited about the launch of the FILA x Burger King collab, and I believe it is one of the most remarkable collaborations of recent times. We managed to creatively and originally unite two iconic brands and develop exclusive products that combine characteristic elements of two great stories,” shares David.
