As the festive season approaches, KFC has teamed up with creative agency Mother London to answer a long-standing query from customers: why not do Kentucky Fried Turkey, or KFT?
However, despite the numerous requests for it to adopt the bigger bird, the fast-food chain is remaining firm in its stance, telling fans it’ll only be sticking with chicken—no matter the season.

As Kate Wall, Strategy and Innovation Direct at KFC, told Creative Salon, while most of the time, customers are “always right,” that isn’t the case when it comes to “switching out chicken for turkey.”
The tongue-in-cheek commercial shows the various calls for turkey the quick service restaurant has gotten on social media, with the company declaring, “We ignored you, we’re sticking with chicken.”
