Aston Martin is extending its engineering prowess from automobiles to bicycles by introducing a bespoke road bicycle: the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R.
Teaming up with titanium two-wheeler manufacturer J.Laverack, this collaboration claims to offer the world’s most “advanced and meticulously engineered” bike.

At the heart of the ride is an innovative design concept that seamlessly integrates various components, creating a “visually boltless” appearance.
Intriguingly, the frame of the .1R is a remarkable blend of parametrically designed, 3D-printed titanium lugs and sculpted carbon fiber tubes.

One of the standout features of the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R is its clean, cable-free appearance. Typically, bicycles have exposed cables and hoses, but this bike hides them entirely.
The duo developed specialized testing equipment to integrate the bike’s four-piston brake calipers into a clean sheet design, resulting in a clean and uncluttered appearance.

Taking inspiration from the automotive world, the .1R incorporates design elements from Aston Martin’s supercar and hypercar programs.
To make things even more exclusive, each owner of the .1R will have the opportunity to customize their bike fully.

Customers can visit the automaker’s headquarters in Gaydon for a personalized fitting session with J.Laverack’s founders and even select the same color palettes and trim choices as its cars.
For those who can’t make the trip to the factory, there’s an online configurator where shoppers can design their dream .1R.

This digital tool allows users to specify the colors of various bike components, from the tubes and lugs to the saddle and handlebar tape.
Furthermore, the two-wheeler can be customized to showcase the natural beauty of carbon fiber, or specific components can be highlighted with a special ceramic coating available in bronze or black.

Each bike is numbered, creating a sense of exclusivity and connection among owners.
Additionally, customers will receive a dedicated travel case for their .1R, available in aluminum or carbon. This case serves both as a protective travel solution and a display piece for the bike.
