Meet the ‘Woovebox’, a portable music workstation designed for artists on the move.
This compact device combines a synthesizer, sequencer, sampler, and beat maker in a pocket-sized package. To put it into perspective, it is three times lighter than an iPhone and two times smaller.

The synthesizer offers a 16-part multi-timbral setup, accommodating polyphonic, paraphonic, or mono tracks.
Users can choose from 16 oscillator algorithms and combine two oscillator models per voice. Additionally, there are 10 filter types, two envelopes, and support for up to 256 user samples.

The Woovebox includes various effects for tone shaping and allows users to sample sounds through a dedicated line input or import digital samples via Bluetooth.
Its 16-step sequencer supports polyrhythms, arpeggios, and melodies, facilitating music composition.
Users can export songs and stem as WAV files, and MIDI hardware control is also supported.
Despite its features, the Woovebox is impressively lightweight at just 2.4 ounces and boasts a 1,000-mAh rechargeable battery for portability.

Its compact size allows DJs and other musicians to pack light to gigs and even foster on-the-spot music creation. That said, it could also be useful for sound engineers working on movies or video games who need to sketch out soundtrack ideas while on location.
