Xbox is cutting another 268 jobs while reorganizing several of its first-party studios as its restructuring continues. Activision will develop the next Halo title through a new team separate from Call of Duty and will also oversee World’s Edge and Rare. Bethesda is taking responsibility for Obsidian, while Playground Games and Turn 10 are combining into one studio focused on Forza and Fable. Compulsion Games, Double Fine and Undead Labs have left Xbox ownership, while Ninja Theory faces a proposed closure after two agreements fell through. Xbox says its restructuring is now roughly three-quarters complete.
