Bianca Censori Debuts Surreal Performance Art ‘BIO POP’ Project In Seoul

Bianca Censori, Australian architect and wife of Ye, unveiled her first performance art piece BIO POP (The Origin) in Seoul on December 11–12, 2025. The surreal debut blended architecture, experimental furniture, and live performance, with contortionists and mannequin doubles posed as “human furniture.” Censori herself appeared in a latex bodysuit, baking and presenting a vivid red cake as a ritual offering, reframing domestic life as spectacle. The work, described as a “self‑portrait in constraint,” marks the opening of a seven‑part cycle planned through 2032, exploring themes of intimacy, confinement, and identity within domestic spaces.
