Viral ‘6-7’ Slang Forces In-N-Out To Remove ‘67’ From Its Ordering System

by rrollins, December 10, 2025

In-N-Out Burger has quietly removed the number 67 from its order ticket system after the viral Gen Alpha slang “6-7” began disrupting restaurants. The phrase, popularized on TikTok and linked to Skrilla’s 2024 track Doot Doot (6 7) and NBA star LaMelo Ball’s height, sparked chants and laughter whenever “67” was called. Employees confirmed the change after customers noticed tickets skipping from 66 to 68. The chain also retired 69, long associated with jokes. Dictionary.com named “67” its Word of the Year, labeling it “brainrot slang.” The meme has spread into schools, sports, and fast-food promotions.
