TransActual UK has installed a “Third Toilet” outside the UK Supreme Court in protest against the recent ruling that defines sex in the Equality Act 2010 as biological. Designed by BBH London, the installation responds to the suggestion that trans people should have a separate space rather than access to single-sex facilities. The toilet, painted in trans flag colors, symbolizes the exclusion and risks trans individuals face. Activists argue the ruling has devastated the trans community, restricting access to public spaces, healthcare, and workplaces. The protest aims to pressure policymakers into ensuring legal clarity and protection.
