Primark has launched free “Love It for Longer” clothing repair workshops in the U.S., aiming to extend garment lifespan and reduce textile waste. The initiative, which has hosted nearly 400 workshops across Europe, teaches basic mending skills like sewing buttons, fixing hems, and adding pockets. Attendees receive a free sewing kit, repair booklet, and tote bag. Primark’s sustainability efforts include reducing emissions and using recycled materials, aligning with growing consumer demand for eco-friendly fashion choices. The workshops will debut in New York and Virginia, encouraging shoppers to repair instead of replace as part of a broader sustainability push.
