Starbucks has reinstated free refills and self-serve condiment bars in U.S. and Canada stores, effective January 27, 2025. Customers can now enjoy free refills for hot or iced brewed coffee or tea during their in-store visit. The condiment bars, removed during the pandemic, return with offerings like milk, creamer, and sweeteners for drink customization. Starbucks aims to reduce waste by serving these beverages in reusable ceramic mugs and glasses. CEO Brian Niccol envisions creating a welcoming coffeehouse atmosphere. The company has also reversed its open-door policy, now requiring purchases for entry.
