Grenfell Athletic FC has introduced a new Nike kit named ‘Fabric of the Community,’ crafted from fabrics donated by individuals connected to the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The kit features 30 unique patches, including garments worn by survivors during the 2017 fire and contributions from notable figures like Louis Tomlinson and Héctor Bellerín. Each shirt contains an NFC chip linking to videos that share the stories behind the fabrics. Over 2,000 shirts have been sold, with proceeds supporting local initiatives. The kits will debut in the 2024/25 season, symbolizing resilience and unity within the community.
