Samsung has teamed up once again with Maison Margiela, this time for a special, high-fashion take on the Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone.
Margiela, known for its “deconstructive and sophisticated designs,” offers up a limited-edition smartphone that combines the brand’s minimalist design with the latest foldable technology.

With the Galaxy Z Flip series, users can transform smartphones from mere communication devices to tools of self-expression, like one modeled in the aesthetic of a French fashion house.
As such, the mobile device stands out with its rear glass design, revealing the inner workings of a Maison Margiela jacket through a semi-transparent effect.

This unique look is further enhanced with an exclusive silver and metallic color, characteristic of the luxury fashion label’s signature style.
The special edition includes the Flap Leather Case—featuring the brand’s exquisite craftsmanship with natural black leather, woven fabric, and handwoven stitching.

Next, the Flipsuit Case features two Flipsuit Cards with a unique paint splatter motif and a silver plate, showcasing Margiela’s iconic numbering design.
Reflecting the maison’s signature “unfinished” style, the packaging features a distinct stitching pattern, resembling archival sample storage used in ateliers.

The smartphone’s exterior is covered in paper-based woven book cloth fabric, seamlessly blending the device with the designer’s atelier aesthetic.
