Netflix is treating fans in more ways than one. After teasing the first bit of Stranger Things season five, it is now stirring up some excitement—and sweetness—with free Scoops Ahoy ice cream, alluding to the ice cream parlor at Starcourt Mall.
There’s good news and bad news. The good news is the streaming giant is offering up a year-long indulgence in pints, with a new flavor to savor every month—on the house. On the downside, this privilege is only exclusive to one fan, who will receive all seven options across an entire year.

The delectable selection includes USS Butterscotch, Chocolate Pudding, Cinnamon Bun Bytes, and the Triple Decker Extravaganza. There are also three chilling flavors inspired by the eerie Upside Down: Mint Flare, Pineapple Upside Down, and The Void.

USS Butterscotch exists in the show and is a favorite among Starcourt Mall patrons, according to Netflix. It features salty-sweet caramel ribbons and chocolate swirls blended into a butterscotch base. The brand suggests pairing this flavor with the first and fourth episodes of the third season.

Other flavors playfully honor the characters and their stories. Cinnamon Bun Bytes, for instance, nods to Suzie’s summer of love with Dustin and his ‘Byte Off’ T-shirt in season four.
And with The Void, “you never know what lurks below the surface,” as the company puts it. This enigmatic flavor includes black vanilla ice cream, strawberry ribbons, and vanilla cream cookie pieces.

The giveaway, available to participants residing in the US, the District of Columbia, or Canada, will run through November 13.
