The United States Postal Service (USPS) is delivering on meeting your design sensibilities. The company has unveiled a sneak peek of its stamp lineup for 2024, stretching all the way into glimpses of year-end releases.
These bite-sized works of art—certainly pieces to write home about—tell stories of American culture, history, and traditions.
“Stamps also allow us to show what’s important to us as we carefully select which stamp adorns our mailpieces. The 2024 stamps were designed to offer the American public a broad array of choices for those looking to collect stamps or send a special message,” Lisa Bobb-Semple, acting Stamp Services director for USPS, elaborates.
It’s worth noting that the artwork is preliminary and subject to change. The USPS intends to unveil new designs in the coming weeks and months.

One of the featured stamps celebrates the Year of the Dragon in the Lunar New Year collection. This three-dimensional dragon mask design draws inspiration from traditional paper-cut folk art, with vibrant colors and symbolic patterns.

Valentine’s Day is marked with a new Love stamp featuring a stylized bird carrying a love message in its beak, set against a rich red background.

A set of colorful Pinback Button stamps adds joy and whimsy to cards and envelopes. These stamps, with 10 distinct typographic designs by 10 artists, resemble three-dimensional pinback buttons and feature words like “smile,” “hello!,” “peace,” and more.

Come 2024, an all-new Floral Geometry stamp, valued at US$1, will offer an elegant and contemporary look for packages and mailings. The design incorporates overlapping geometric shapes and foil-stamped elements for a sophisticated appearance.

Space enthusiasts can look forward to the Pillars of Creation and Cosmic Cliffs stamps, featuring images captured by the James Webb Space Telescope and colorized to reveal stunning cosmic landscapes.
