Blizzard Entertainment is out for blood, and gamers will be its first victims.
With the coming of Diablo 4 Season Two, the developer is building a gaming PC “infused with real human blood.” But first, it’ll need players to make a small sacrifice from their inconsequential lives. Its Blood Harvest, scheduled through November 20, calls upon the community to contribute a total of 666 quarts as part of a blood donation drive.
Vampires overrun this game, entitled Season of Blood. Luckily, your contribution won’t help strengthen their army but real humans in need of blood. To join the cause, US-based players aged 18 and up can visit any blood bank and make a donation, and then submit proof on the Diablo Blood Harvest website.
The objective is to collect over 666 quarts of blood, which equates to the standard one-pint donations from 1,332 players, GamesRadar points out.
To encourage progress in this bloodthirsty endeavor, Blizzard is doling out rewards every time a 222-quart blood quota is reached.

At the first stage, which is when 33% of the goal is achieved, Diablo 4 gamers—no matter if they’ve made a donation or not—will be endowed with ‘Bloodpetal’ weapon cosmetics.

At 66%, they’ll receive Loch Raeth Maor Barbarian armor.

Finally, at 100%, the game will give out Vermillion Eye Piebald mounts. These prizes will be handed out on November 23.
The most sinister incentive, invoked from a 100% achievement, will spawn a sweepstakes for a gaming PC with “real human blood” running through its liquid cooling.
Specs-wise, the PC will be powered by a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card and an Intel Core i9 CPU, as well as feature 64 GB of DDR6 RAM, 3 TB SSD Storage, and a EK-Quantum Vector GPU water block.
If you were secretly coveting after MSCHF’s Satan Shoes, it’s not game over in your feat to tap into your dark side.
