Pink Floyd-Inspired Turntable Takes Listeners To The ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s iconic album, Pro-Ject has introduced The Dark Side of the Moon Turntable. This limited-edition turntable exhibits a distinct three-cornered glass design, a visual nod to the triangular prism gracing the album’s cover art.

Notably, the on/off lever of the turntable extends outward, recreating the white streaks that are a signature feature of the album’s visual design. And, of course, as the light shines through the “prism,” an LED-backlit rainbow with a dimming function extends out the back, bringing the album’s artwork to life right in your home.

While aesthetics play a significant role, this turntable doesn’t skimp on quality hardware. It boasts an 8.6-inch acrylic and black aluminum low resonance tonearm with anti-skating. Additionally, it comes with a Pick it PRO Special Edition cartridge, finely tuned for this special model.

In terms of performance, it’s a precision belt-drive turntable offering two speeds, 33 and 45 rpm, which an electronic speed control switch can smoothly control.

For those who cherish their 7-inch records, the turntable includes a 7-inch adapter to shuffle through your music collection easily.
