Bang & Olufsen’s Beolab range has just stepped into the spotlight with the Beolab 8, a compact standalone speaker that seeks to encapsulate versatility without compromising its aesthetic appeal.

Drawing inspiration from its Beolab predecessors, this speaker aims to distill its acoustic essence into a more petite form. Moreover, it was made to stand the test of time with updateable and repairable features. Its materials and surfaces patinate as time passes, adding character to your space.

The Beolab 8’s versatility extends to its compatibility with older Bang & Olufsen speakers, enabling the creation of a bespoke home cinema setup. Its Room compensation mode is a thoughtful touch, optimizing sound distribution based on placement and creating an acoustic sweet spot by using your phone’s location.

According to the official website, the speaker “carefully maps its environment with a dedicated microphone – to deliver crystal clear quality and musical fidelity no matter the size or setup of your space.”

Discreetly housed beneath a glass-covered interface on its top, the controls maintain its sleek and uncluttered design. The Beolab 8 can be effortlessly managed through the Bang & Olufsen app for added convenience.

To accommodate diverse preferences and spatial needs, you have four stand options available, whether you prefer to mount it on walls, floors, ceilings, or tables. This speaker offers wireless connectivity for streaming from various services and platforms. The Beolab 8 is now available online for US$2,753.84.
